About Us

The Finally Free Area Service Committee of Narcotics Anonymous, FFASCNA, serves all of Richland, Ashland, Crawford, and Knox counties in Ohio.  In Wayne County, we share the city of Wooster with our sister service committee the Western Reserve Area. In Marion County, we share the city of Marion with our sister service committee the Mid Ohio Area.

FFASCNA embodies the combined efforts of many meetings and several centuries of accumulated clean time among our area’s recovering addicts. We serve a geographic area representing more than 100,000 people.  FFASCNA is a part of the Ohio Regional Service Committee of Narcotics Anonymous, ORSCNA, which encompasses most of Ohio and includes part of southern Michigan, northern Kentucky, and a portion of West Virginia. ORSCNA represents hundreds of meetings with millenia of combined clean time and serves a geographic area representing millions of people.

In addition to maintaining our meetings, this web site, and doing outreach to carry the message that the time-tested, proven 12 step program of Narcotics Anonymous is present in north central Ohio, we carry meetings into facilities in Richland and Huron counties serving nearly 1,000 individuals in state and county correctional systems.

We strive to dispel stereotypes and to prove that an addict, any addict, can stop using, lose the desire to use, and find a new way to live. Our aim is to disprove the tired old adage of “once an addict, always an addict.”

We thank you for your interest in Narcotics Anonymous, and we wish you well.
